The extent of deep cleaning differs from one home to another. Some homes may be covered in dust and clutter, while others might require extra attention to corners that aren't frequently cleaned. However, the consistent factor is that deep cleaning demands more time compared to regular housekeeping.
To accommodate this, our deep cleaning services are structured around time. This approach provides maximum flexibility. You can simply reserve a specific duration and communicate to your housekeeper which deep cleaning tasks hold the highest priority for your home.
Two Ways To Schedule Deep Cleaning Services
We have two ways to schedule deep cleaning services based on how often you plan to use our services.
One-time Cleaning
This option is best for homes that just need help a few times a year.
Add Extra Time
Add extra time to any cleaning on a recurring schedule.
General Housekeeping vs Deep Cleaning
Deep cleaning typically involves dedicating more time to each room in the house. Your housekeeper usually follows a methodical approach, starting from the top and working their way down, moving from left to right, and thoroughly wet wiping all accessible surfaces.
In contrast, general housekeeping aims to address various tasks in each room, with a focus on dusting horizontal surfaces, disposing of trash, and maintaining a tidy appearance as they proceed.
As a rule of thumb, we typically allocate around 2 hours for each bathroom or kitchen, and an additional hour for the rest of the rooms in a home. However, these times may vary based on the specific cleaning requirements.
Please keep in mind that this is a general estimate. Since Spring Into Clean does not determine the cleaning time, we cannot assure that everything will be cleaned within the scheduled timeframe. Nevertheless, we will make every effort to clean as thoroughly as possible.

FAQ
Will my entire home get cleaned?
It really depends on how much time we have. Your housekeeper will do their best to clean as much as they can. But because the client selects the amount of cleaning time, we can't guarantee that every corner is going to be cleaned if we don't have enough time to clean it.
How many housekeepers will be assigned?
We will send one housekeeper per home. You will get the same housekeeper each time we clean for you. This way, your housekeeper knows exactly how you like your home cleaned.
Can my housekeeper do laundry?
Yes, your housekeeper is capable of folding and storing clean laundry. We recommend utilizing a pick-up/drop-off laundry service like Family Laundry in Oakland for cleaning your items. You can easily schedule a pick-up either online or through their app. Rest assured, your laundry is handled by Family Laundry employees, not outsourced. They wash your items in their own private laundry facility.
Do you clean inside the fridge?
Certainly! Cleaning the refrigerator can be included within the scheduled cleaning time. Typically, we will wipe down the exterior. If you'd like your housekeeper to also clean the interior surfaces, simply inform them either via text when they are on their way or update the notes for the specific booking date.
Please note that cleaning the refrigerator can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. The refrigerator doors will remain open during the cleaning process, so we recommend relocating any perishables for proper storage.
Your housekeeper will clean the shelves and drawers in the fridge and freezer provided they can access them easily and without having to handle any food directly, such as produce not in a plastic bag. Expired foods will only be discarded if they show clear signs of molding. If you would like them to also dispose of anything in a container that has expired, please communicate this to them. Some clients reuse containers, and we want to avoid inadvertently discarding something that should be kept.
How often should I schedule house cleanings?
We recommend regular cleaning for your home. Most of our clients opt for cleanings every 2 or 4 weeks, but the frequency should align with your specific usage patterns. If you have children or pets, you may find more frequent cleanings beneficial.
Consider the cleaning tasks your home requires on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Decide which tasks you're comfortable handling yourself, and then assess how quickly the remaining cleaning tasks accumulate. Cut that time in half.
For instance, if it takes a month for the bathroom to start feeling less pleasant, hiring a cleaning service to clean it every 2 weeks could be a suitable schedule.
